I was born in the capital of Armenia called Yerevan. At the age of 7, I saw a movie called "The Sound of Music" and fell in love with music. I asked my parents to let me have piano lessons. They did. I went to music school for ten years. After graduating high school I attended the Pedagogical University of Armenia and received my degree in teaching music. When I relocated to Los Angeles, I had several jobs and realized that I truly love being a music teacher and so here I am. I have been working for LAUSD for 17 years, as a music teacher. I love working at Knollwood and sharing my love and passion of music with the staff and students.
